The Petition
We considered making it an internet petition, which would have been convenient for everyone involved. But having real signatures on paper will be much more meaningful.

Signatures were collected during the first part of 2010.

The petition was signed by people who:
  • live and/or work in Brenham
  • attend school and/or church in Brenham
  • do business in Brenham
  • visit friends in Brenham

Petition for the Establishment of a Railroad Quiet Zone
 
We the undersigned earnestly request that the elected members of the City Council of the City of Brenham do what is necessary--without further delay--to establish a railroad quiet zone within the city limits.
